Thanks to everyone who participated in the Visioning Committee’s Small Group Gatherings over the last two Sundays. We received some wonderful insights into how the Holy Spirit is moving here at St. James’ Church and how you view our future. We are building to our Day of Reflection and Discernment on Saturday June 3 from 9:00 am to 12:45 pm in the Fellowship Hall. During our time together we will review our progress across the last few months, and reflect upon:
Who has St. James’ Church been? (history)
Who is St. James’ Church today? (culture and context)
What does St. James’ Church do? (ministries)
What are the needs of the larger Leesburg and Loudoun County community? (demographic data, community services survey)
We will then break into smaller groups to reflect together as we discern where God is calling us. We will break at 12:45 pm for a light lunch.
Please join us as we take yet another step on our visioning journey. If you have questions or comments, reach out to any member of the Visioning Committee: Chase Banks, Ara Bagdasarian, Art Blakeslee, Carolyn Briles, Lyndsay Chamblin, Stacy Cleveland, Wendy Glorioso, Heather Gold, and Worth Hawes. Please remember St. James’ Church and our visioning process in your prayers.
