Sunday morning Church School, which meets from 10:10 am to 11:00 am, is off and running with “Whirl,” the curriculum for our Pre-K through Third Graders, and “Connect” for our class of Fourth and Fifth Graders. Middle School is in the process of transitioning from “Echo the Story” to a new curriculum “Rite 13.” Senior High are invited to join Sunday Forum as we transition to “Journey to Adulthood (J2A).” We are blessed by a dedicated and gifted team of 29 teachers. The teaching team for each grade or group of grades will be present each and every Sunday, so that children and youth can benefit from a consistent stable presence from their teachers, building relationships with God, self, and one another. For more information about Church School, contact Michelle Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Children are invited to enhance our worship, while experiencing the joy of singing and gaining a love for church music, by participating in our Children’s Choir. Children K through Fifth Grade sing at various times throughout the church year; they rehearse on Sunday mornings between 11:00 am and 12:00 noon in the Fellowship Hall. To learn more, contact Rachel Newell at email@example.com.
Senior High Girls Bible Study meets Thursday mornings at 7:15 am in the Janney Parlor. All Senior High girls are welcome! Contact Rebecca Alliss at firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
Let’s make some music! If you are in Middle School or Senior High and like singing and/or playing music, then St. James’ Joy and Music (JAM) is for you! JAM offers some “modern” Christian music for our 9:00 am worship, and we always welcome new singers and musicians. Although JAM is off for the summer, for more information, contact Ara Bagdasarian at email@example.com.
