Adult Forum

Each Sunday from September through early June, we offer Adult Forum from 10:10-11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Adult Forum offers parishioners the opportunity to encounter the living God by exploring the Bible, sacraments, history, theology and contemporary issues. This increases understanding, inspires faith, and reminds that formation is a life-long process of growth through regular study and reflection. It prepares parishioners to go into the world "to love and serve God as faithful witnesses of Christ our Lord."

Coming Up at Adult Forum

Sunday, June 2: Join us as longtime parishioner Ashley Cameron speaks about her upcoming mission work with The Episcopal Development Foundation in the Northern Philippines through the Young Adult Service Corps (YASC).

Ashley is finishing her year-long internship with the Office of Mission & Outreach at the Diocese of Virginia which has greatly prepared her for a year of mission work. Starting in mid-August, Ashley will be a Young Adult Service Corps (YASC) missionary for the Episcopal Church. Specifically designed for Episcopalians ages 21-30, YASC is a ministry for young adults who are interested in exploring their faith in new ways by living and serving in communities around the Anglican Communion. As a missionary representing the Diocese of Virginia, Ashley will be working with The Episcopal Development Foundation in the Northern Philippines. She will be helping manage funds of a program that supports poverty-alleviation projects of local communities. Ashley is excited to develop relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ across the Anglican Communion and use her knowledge of economics and mission to achieve that.
