Grace to Go
-
St. James’ Church initiated the “Grace to Go” ministry in 2009, in which community members assemble and cook nutritious meals to distribute to families affected by food insecurity in Leesburg.
-
Each week, community members gather to prepare "Grace to Go" meals at Market 93 Provisions (Deli South, Smokin Willy BBQ) in Purcellville from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm on Sunday afternoons
-
The meals are available to anyone in the Leesburg community on a first-come, first served basis. Meals are distributed every Sunday at 4 pm at the Leesburg Apartments at 75 Plaza Street.
-
Currently, St. James is teaming with Market 93 Provisions, NOVA Church of Christ, Leesburg Presbyterian Church, the Rotary Club of Leesburg, St. David’s Episcopal Church, Beth Chaverim Reform Congregation, and many community volunteers as partners in this vitally important ministry.
